Granada club de Futbol, or simply Granada CF, is a Spanish football club in Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. The club was formed on the 14th April 1931 and plays its home matches at the Nuevo Los Carmenes. The Nuevo los Carmenes has a capacity of 19,336. Their current head coach is Diego Martinez and the president is Jiang Lizhang.

Granada CF: Honors
The club have never won a major trophy, with the closest they came being in 1959, when they managed to be runners up in the Copa del Rey. But Granada have won the Segunda division 3 times and also came runners up twice.

Granada CF: Famous Player
Roberto Soldado, the La Liga winner, currently plays for Granada CF making 23 appearances, scoring 2 goals this season. As a youth player, Soldado enjoyed a successful spell in Real Madrid’s B team, scoring 63 goals in 120 appearances. After failing to make an impact in the first team, Soldado left and had successful spells with Getafe and Valencia, before making a move to Tottenham where he scored only 7 goals in 52 appearances. Furthermore Soldado then went on to play for Villarreal and Fenerbahce before signing for Granada in 2019. At 34 years of age Soldado is coming to the end of his playing days.
